Solid Technologies AG (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal data when you use Solid Job Ad (the “Service”), and describes your rights.

2. Data We Collect
- Account information (optional): Email address and profile details if you create an account.
- Submissions & content processed: URLs you submit, job ad text you paste, and content we fetch from submitted URLs (including publicly available information on those pages).
- Analysis results & interactions: Scores, recommendations, edits you make, saved items, likes/removals, and related metadata (timestamps, language, feature usage).
- Usage data: IP address, device and browser data, pages viewed, referral URLs, and event logs necessary to operate and secure the Service.

- Communications: Messages you send to us (support, feedback).
- No payment data: We do not collect payment or billing information via the Service.
Note: If the job ad page you submit contains personal data (e.g., recruiter names, contact emails), that data may be fetched and processed to generate your analysis. Only submit URLs and text you are authorized to process.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use personal data to:
- Provide and improve the Service: Fetch and parse submitted URLs, generate analyses, operate features like saving and exporting, maintain security and performance.
- Account management & support: Authenticate users, prevent abuse, and respond to inquiries.
- Analytics: Understand usage patterns to improve user experience and develop new features.
- Legal & safety: Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and users (e.g., abuse prevention).
We may create aggregated or de-identified statistics from usage data and analysis outputs for reporting and product improvement. We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified data.
4. Legal Bases (GDPR/UK GDPR and similar)
We process data based on:
- Consent (e.g., for certain cookies or optional communications).
- Contract (to provide the Service where an account or specific feature requires it).
- Legitimate interests (e.g., Service improvement, security, fraud prevention) where not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligations (where required by law).
5. Sharing & Disclosure
- Service providers (processors): We use third-party vendors to operate the Service (e.g., hosting and infrastructure such as Firebase/Google, analytics, and providers of AI/ML model services used to generate analyses).
- Third-party sites accessed from your URLs: When you submit a link, our systems may fetch and process that page’s content. We do not control those sites and their privacy practices.
- Legal: We may disclose information where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Corporate events: In a merger, acquisition, or sale, personal data may be transferred as permitted by law.
6. International Transfers
If you are in the EEA/UK or a region with comparable data protection, your data may be transferred to countries outside your region (including the USA). Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other recognized safeguards.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. Retention periods vary by data type and context (e.g., audit and security logs may be kept longer where necessary). You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data as set out below.

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect data from such children. If you believe a child provided data, please contact us to request deletion.
11. Data from Third-Party Sites & Caching
When you submit a URL, we may fetch and temporarily cache the page to provide the Service. If you are a rights holder and want cached material removed, contact us (see Controller & Contact).
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and post the new version. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
