Introduction

Solid Job Ad (the “Service”) is provided by Solid Technologies AG (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Solid Job Ad website, services, and features. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By using the Service, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy (incorporated by reference). If you do not agree to all of them, stop using the Service.

2. Eligibility

  1. Minimum age: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
  2. Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and regulations (including labour, anti-discrimination, and data protection laws).

3. What the Service Does

Solid Job Ad helps you improve job advertisements by letting you enter a public job ad link or paste job ad text to receive automated analyses and suggestions (e.g., clarity, inclusivity, structure, readability, tone, and conversion best practices). Core features may include:

  • Fetching and parsing publicly available job ad pages you submit.
  • Generating scores, checklists, and recommendations.
  • Saving, exporting, or refining analyses.

The Service may use automated systems and AI models to process content. The outputs are informational only and are not legal, HR, or compliance advice, nor guarantees of hiring outcomes.

4. Accounts and Security

  1. Accounts (optional): Some features (e.g., saving histories) may require an account. Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  2. Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

5. User Content & Third-Party Content

  1. Definitions: “User Content” includes URLs you submit, text you paste, settings, and any materials you upload. Job ads at third-party sites (“Third-Party Content”) may be fetched and processed when you submit a URL.
  2. Your rights & warranties: You represent you have rights or permission to submit the User Content and to request processing of any Third-Party Content. Do not submit confidential or non-public material or content behind paywalls you are not authorized to access.
  3. License to us: You grant Solid Technologies AG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, reproduce, and process User Content and fetched Third-Party Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including maintaining temporary caches.
  4. Caching & removal: We may temporarily cache fetched pages to provide the Service. If you are a rights holder and want cached material removed, contact us (see Contact).
  5. Responsibility: You are solely responsible for User Content and for ensuring processing requests do not violate laws, site terms, robots rules, or third-party rights. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms.

6. Results, Intellectual Property & Feedback

  1. Our IP: The Service (software, models, designs, and documentation) is owned by or licensed to Solid Technologies AG and protected by IP laws. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
  2. Your use of results: Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the analysis outputs you receive from the Service for your internal business purposes.
  3. Trademarks: All trademarks, service marks, and trade names (including “Solid Job Ad” and “Solid Technologies AG”) are our property or used under license. Do not use them without our prior written permission.
  4. Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use them without restriction.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Violate laws or third-party rights (including IP, privacy, or contractual restrictions).
  2. Upload or request analysis of unlawful, discriminatory, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content.
  3. Submit sensitive personal data (e.g., health, biometric, precise location, financial account numbers) or personal data of candidates or employees unless you have a lawful basis and have complied with applicable laws.
  4. Introduce malware, bypass security, or access non-public areas of the Service or our providers’ systems.
  5. Scrape, crawl, or perform automated or bulk submissions without our prior written consent, or otherwise overload or interfere with the Service or third-party providers.
  6. Circumvent rate limits, usage restrictions, paywalls, or technical protections.
  7. Use outputs as legal or HR compliance advice without independent review by qualified professionals.

8. Third-Party Sites & Providers

When you submit a URL, we may access third-party sites to fetch content. We are not responsible for those sites’ content, availability, policies, or actions. The Service also runs on third-party infrastructure and may use external model/analytics providers. Their terms and policies may apply.

9. Termination

  1. By you: You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
  2. By us: We may suspend or terminate access at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms. We will try to notify you when reasonable.
  3. Effect: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.

10. Disclaimers

  1. As-is: The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
  2. No guarantees: We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or that outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes.
  3. Not legal/HR advice: Analyses are informational only and not a substitute for professional advice.
  4. Infrastructure: We are not responsible for outages or data loss caused by third parties.

11. Limitation of Liability

  1. Indirect damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solid Technologies AG is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, revenue, or data.
  2. Cap: Our total liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
  3. Jurisdictions: Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, those limitations apply only to the extent permitted.

12. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Solid Technologies AG and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your requested processing of Third-Party Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law & Venue

  1. Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
  2. Venue: The exclusive venue for disputes is Lucerne, Switzerland. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms at any time at our discretion. Material changes will be posted on the website with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
